Greetings,

Can anyone tell me what sort of wasp this is? It was found in the Green River Formation, Piceance Creek Basin. There is a second one of the same species with it on the shale, but I cut it out of the photo so the kbs would fit. They both have ovipositors, but one wasp is much bigger than the other. They are 7 mm and 1 cm long Hope this works.

Thanks,

Bea
