This fly looks like a Calliphoridae to me. Is that correct and could something perhaps be said about further identification? Photographed today at Leerdam, Netherlands Thank you in advance! Hello, Jan! I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure this is Calliphora vicina (rosy cheeks). They were also numerous on tree trunks yesterday here in Germany.
