Hi again,

Frank Koehler's site led me to Chrysolina varians, but that's just a guess. Is it, or should I file it under Chrysomelidae sp?

Hi Andr?,
you stopped too early in the species menue. It is Agelastica alni (next subfam. Galerucinae), one of the most common leaf beatles. Chrysolina varians from Hypericum (you can find various species on Hypericum now) looks like a marble.
Best regards
Frank
