Hello to all! Any chance to identify this nice robberfly? Its length was about 2cm (for comparison: the prey was an obviously highly pregnant Meliscaeva cinctella). 6.8.2011, Czech Republic, near Prachatice Rupert Huber attached the following image: [184.98Kb] Best greetings Rupert |

Looks like Tolmerus atricapillus, but I dunno whether there might be similar species in that area that I am not familiar with.
