 Looks like a very pale Mintho rufiventris (Tachinidae), but where in the world did you see it?

 And Chris had good reason to ask about the locality, since he had never seen such an orange Mintho in Britain !

it is Mintho compressa, a southern species.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
