Interesting!
Could the yellow parts be remnants of the egg, so had the ladybird just emerged from it's egg, is that possible?

Hello,

No, it can't be an egg. I don't know enough the number of instars of a lady beetle larva (four, I think), but from the mere size this one was at least at 3rd or 4th. It must be the innards of the larva.

It could be that we see one lateral yellow spot _and_ the innards of the larva.

About 12 mm for the Syrphid larva, 8-9 mm for the Adalia larva.
