Hello everyone, especially tachinid fans! This time I have a question for you - what's the name of this tachinid with piercing mouthparts? Hard to see much detail but if it has a long, hinged proboscis then it should be a Siphona sp.

Hi Andriau, If it has hairy parafacial (at least with five setulae below the frontal setae) than could be S. geniculata, very common there in the west. Erikas |
