Any ideas on ID of this fly- about the 4th time I've captured one of these eating other flies. Taken Yesterday South Coast uk. Fly about 7.3mm body length. Thanks Brian V. ![]() |

The prey is a gall midge, unmistakebly from the wing venation. As for the predator, I rarely touch the calyptrate stuff. ![]() Paul - - - - Paul Beuk on https://diptera.info |
