Hi Cecile, Welcome to Diptera.info! You got the genus right - Chloromyia, but the species wrong - this is speciosa - see http://www.dipter...post_12670. The hind basitarsis (basal segment of the foot) is contrastingly pale - much paler than the dark part of the tibia. Although we cannot see the male's hind tarsi, it does have the darkened wings and dark hairs around the antennae which are typical of speciosa, so I think it is the same. C. speciosa is a much more uncommon species - a really good find! Tony ---------- Tony Irwin |
