Hi, I don't think it is Tachinidae.
I think Sarcophagidae, Miltogramminae.

ohhh...... a trick! Frown the ever same question Smile How can it be so similar to tachinidae?... I thought that the many bristles on abdomen, and torax and I think similar shape to Tachinidae... this could be a tachinid. How can I do distinguish between these??

Thank you, Nikita!

Formaly they distinguish by the shape of scutellum, it isn't visible on image. So, I replied by general impression and I'm not sure ("I think- I don't think).

This year, in June, when I met in Turkey my first (and so far last) Miltogramminae, I thought it is Tachinidae too...

Well, it IS a Tachinid, though a rather aberrant one, agreed:
Microphthalma europaea.

I wish I could find more info about this fly. I google for it, but there are just checklists... no so much info about this one. I found a german site that talks a little about this fly. Could you provide some ecology info about this fly in particular? It seems that this fly is a rare sight (it doesn?t mean that is uncommon). Thank you a lot for you all!
