Looks like a male of Xylota, but rather strange coloration. 2.07.10, Bekid Niski Mt. PL

Considering the shape op hind femur and tibia, the apparently yellow knob of the halter, the apparently dark pterostigma and overall jizz, I think it's C. curvipes (nowadays called C. femoratus by syrphidologists who whish to be nomenclatorally correct, but as that name used to be used for the species we now call C. valgus, I prefer to use C. curvipes for this one, in order to avoid confusion, if you're still with me...)

We can also 'just' call it a spectacular species! Grin
