This is a sepsid found in the Netherlands on a tree trunk, very close to a sap stream. There were a lot of these somewhat bigger (4-5 mm) sepsids. Hi Gerard. Most probably it is Nemopoda nitidula - t2 with apical av, pv; legs yellow, wings slightly darkened near C apex. Nikita Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
