This one is easy. Reddish lateral spots and closed topcell equals Eriothrix rufomaculata. Very common indeed in July - August. A male Theo Zeegers |

The topcell is the cellin the wing that ends near the wing tip. When it is closed, like here, it does not reach the wing border. Theo |
