Dear All
Vaillant (1971-1983) gives a thorough revision on Psychodidae adults and larva in the series ". Die Fliegen der Palaearktischen Region". In Volumes 287, 291, 292, 305, 310, 313, 317, 320, 326 and 328 he deals with tribes other than Psychodini. But to my knowledge there it stops (he passed away?). Does anybody know if this tribe is dealt with in some other publication(s)? In short: I need some identification keys for the larvae of this tribe (genus Psychoda and Tinearia). I have the old papers by Jung (1956) and Feuerborn-Kiel (1923) but I need more. All references are welcome. PDF would be better.

Francois Vaillant is not dead, but Die Fliegen is. As a result, there will be no more volumes and the Psychoda/Tinearia part is thus absent. the only thing I can suggest is the paper by Satchell on the larvae of Psychoda, which covers most of those you will encounter.
