Can anyone confirm that this Asilid (with a small beetle as prey i think) is a Cyrtopogon sp, and is it possible to say which one? Photographed 17.7.09 in the Spanish Pyrenees near Jaca. NickU nick upton attached the following image: [126.75Kb] |

No, it's a female of a Choerades species. |
