Limoniidae larva from Kamchatka Hot Sring. Seems to be Symplecta hybrida, many imagoes were there near algal mat, but no specimens were surely reared from concrete larva.

Symplecta seems o.k. I can see a small brown spot at the base of the ventral lobes just between the brown stripes. This is typical for Symplecta (that is for the know species). |
