Not sure about first image - but second looks like Tachinidae. But honestly, wet specimens make it very difficult for anyone to say what they are. ![]() The problem is that it is impossible to see the arrangement of any bristles and hairs ... and colour/dusting is masked by the colour of the liquid and the wetness. Not to mention the negative effect of awkward reflections from the surface of the liquid. Go on - pin them and lets try again later ![]() Edited by ChrisR on 25-07-2006 23:58 |
