Hello!

Is this Sylvicola punctata? Picture taken yesterday night in Ostwestfalen/Germany. Thanks!

Juergen, it's certainly Sylvicola, but it's difficult to tell which species. It does seem to have some shading towards the wing tip, which would suggest it was not punctata. Also the venation does not look quite right for punctata (though it's difficult to see). My guess is fenestralis, possibly a slightly teneral individual, as it's not as clearly marked as usual.

Thanks! My thoughts were, it looked not quite "right" for fenestralis so it would most probably be punctata. Not necessarily the correct conclusion... ;-)
Best regards,
Jürgen
