Yeah - well done it looks like N.ferox to me. It can only really be mistaken for Tachina fera but fera has brown legs and ferox has black legs, like yours. The general 'jizz' is easy though - ferox is usually slightly bigger, spikier and with really black markings, not just dark brown. In the field the contrast between the black and orange is really strong on ferox. |
