Member Location: Debrecen, Hungary Posts: 5551 Joined: 02.03.05	This is another quite distinctive species. Feels like a Chrysopilus male because the smallish size and the golden hair on the body. But does not look like Ch. auerus, which is supposed to be the only common species within this genus in Hungary. Xespok attached the following image: [62.81Kb]

I am little acquainted with the species that have additional clouding in the wing besides the darkened pterostigma. Since the pterostigma is large and very distinct, may be it is C. erythrophthalmus, but there are also C. nubecula, C. laetus and C. luteolus. These are the Ch. species. recorded in Hungary so far: nubecula, laetus, pullus, luteolus, auratus, erithrophtalamus, helvolus, auerus, splendidus. I think that this fly was too small for erithorphtalamus, the book says that that species is 9-11 mm, also the antennae should be black, wherease they are yellow or light brown in this species. (visible on another image.).
