Robber Fly from Greece

I photographed this robber fly with prey on June 28 on a salt flat near the beach, island of Naxos, Greece.

Any ID help would be appreciated!

I think the prey is much more interesting. Could be Nemotelus of the Stratiomyidae.

The robberfly: If it had been in my part of Europe I would suggest genus Dysmachus but I have no clue to what might be around on the Greecian isles.
