I found this slowly crawling along the wooden railing (the larva, not me Smile) I got a feeling it could perhaps be a Diptera larva.

Size: ~4mm

Hi, I think head is too chitinous, maybe a beetle?

Legs on the three thoracal segments -> no Diptera.
Pseudo-legs on several of the abdominal segments but the first two segments without them-> Lepidoptera.
