 A paper with two syrphid species new for Europe

Two interesting syrphid species were found in Finland in 2008: Brachyopa zhelochovtsevi Mutin, 1998 and Sphaerophoria pallidula Mutin, 1999. These species were originally described from Siberia. A paper with keys and figures for these two species has been published by by A. Haarto & S. Kerppola.
