You need a combination of: Bart?k, M., 1982. The Czechoslovak species of Rhamphomyia (Diptera, Empididae), with description of a new species from Central Europe. - Acta Universitatis Carolinae, Biologica 1980: 381-461. Collin, J.E., 1961. For the Scandinavian species you will need to complement it with Frey's papers, too. I guess the latest comprehensive (yet out-dated) key is that in Lindner.

Also good old Bei-Bienko has quite a good Rhamphomyia key, most cases can be solved with it and Bartak's 1982 Czech paper, even though females are not always too easy. The genus has more species in the north, so us "southern" collectors are in a relatively easier position. In (southern) Finland I've caught only one Rhamphomyia species not included in these keys, it belongs to the albipennis-group, but remains undescribed so far. |

Ok, thank's. As I have only the second part of good old Bei-Bienko my problems continues. Sometimes this is very frustrating to hunt all the keys You need  Jari |

The Bei-Bieno keys often were compiled on the basis of existing keys so it may well be a combination of Frey an Collin keys.
