Looks like Platycheirus sp.,don't know which one. The green colour is just being picked up from the surrounding vegatation, the same way your reflection can be seen on the thorax. Regards Roger Edited by Roger Thomason on 31-01-2009 23:08 |

female Melanostoma - note the triangular shaped yellow markings on the abdomen.
