Hello!

These photos were made yesterday in Ostwestfalen/Germany. I think the first male is Rhagio scopolaceus, is the second one (smaller) R. vitripennis? Thanks!

Hi Juergen,

First one is right,
I have my doubt on the second one.
might be some other Rhagio.
Can you indicate its size ?

It was reasonably smaller than R. scopolaceus. I'm not good at estimating, but I think only about 8-10 mm. The flies also resided more in the vegetation on leaves, not so often on tree trunks or wood stakes.
Best regards,
Jürgen
