hello flyforum, This tiny Tephritis I found in the Amsterdam Woodforest. It was wet and there was no sunshine. There where also a lot of insekts which want to eat me for dinner, so I took the Tephritis only from above.. greeting Robert, Robert Heemskerk attached the following image: [103.5Kb] Edited by Robert Heemskerk on 21-05-2006 23:12 |

Hi Robert, Tephritidae, yes. But I doubt that it's a Tephritis. Maybe an Oxyna? John will tell us! Jan Willem |

Hi Robert, Jan-Willem, Indeed it's not a Tephritis, but a Oxyna, O. parietina judging by the amount of hyaline spots in the wing. John |
