Hello for everyone,

these larvae were found in Debrecen, East-Hungary, in and on Armillaria mellea mushroom. Date: 07.11.2008. A week ago a found a lot of Platypezidae females at the very same location, but also Muscidae-like flies. Some female wasps, possibly Braconidae were also flying around. Anyone knows the family?

Yes Platypezidae. Most probably Protoclythia modesta or P. rufa.

Thank You Michal! I forgot to say that there were a lot of Protoclythia rufa specimens around (which were identified by You also) Smile So these are definetly their offsprings. Thanks a lot!

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
