Hi, Another from Chris's vault of unidentified photos - taken 16/5/2005 beside the river Thames in south Oxfordshire, England. I might have posted this one before but I can't remember if it got an identification. Smile

The flat head and head-down stance with head high and tail low reminded me of a sciomyzid.

Hi Chris. Non-Tachinidae image give me chance to pay you back, but unfortunely not this time.
Sciomyzidae, of course, I think Tetanocera sp., but that is all I can so farSad

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
