Hello! These 3-4 mm long flies are numerous in the vegetation near the forest now, running quickly on leaves (Ostwestfalen/Germany). I suppose, they are Hybotidae. Possibly Platypalpus? (Sorry for the poor picture quality; always a problem with such small objects with my camera.) Though the pictures are rather blurred (they are very difficult to get pictures from, I know) I can confirm that it is Platypalpus.
