It certainly looks like Ephydra - but will be difficult to place it to species without a specimen. However, it makes the Ochthera look very big - bigger than I would have expected for schembrii - we may need to revise that determination! Hi Thanks for the ID Can u list what options of Ephydra known from Israel? I found source remind the Ephydra flavipes as common at highest salinity level water. http://cat.inist....t=17169957 In my case the water are salty due the original source from thrmomineral water use for local Spa As to the Ochthera. for this I need to think how to do I do not have any capturing equipments.
