I've got live image from Black. 20apr, Moscow region. Same day I collected fly which looks for me the same: Moscow, 2-3mm, puncted body. Will you please: 1. Same or not? 2. My idea - Madiza glabra. Good or bad idea? Nikita Nikita Vikhrev attached the following image: [76.69Kb] Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

Hi Nikita, The first one looks similar to http://www.dipter...ad_id=1381!? I would say that the second one is a different species. Jan Willem |

I thought, that brownish colour of wings on first photo is a result of light reflection from dead leaf. Surely, it was mistake. Thank you Jan. P.S. Still hope that second one is Milichiidae Nikita Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

The first is Discomyza incurva, the second indeed appears to be Madiza glabra.
