Cicada barbara I think that is the only present species of the genus in south Spain. In the north we have C. orni. The black spots of the wings and the size, makes the genus unmistakable.

the first looks more like Cicada orni than C.barbara (from what i know barbara have very pale "spots"Wink.

Cosmlin. NO, it's C. barbara - only species present in Valter's zone.

Valter: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As EVERYBODY said here and in Flickr, first is 100% sure Cicada barbara and second Isn't Cicada ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

hihi,
i don't know which cicada you have there, just saying is more like C.orni. from what i have seen C.barbara have much paller spot on the wings.

about the other one i don't know.
