i love this family. So unusual flies. Oestridae.  I think they were much more common than nowadays. Actually they are rarely seen. At least, I never saw one.  And I was near horses, sheeps, and other mammals...  |

I don't have the key handy but iooks very similar to the specimen I caught in a Malaise trap a few years ago in south Oxon |
