Looks like Cantharidae but ...

hi,

i have problems in identifying this bug. for me he looks similar to Rhagonycha fulva but he isnt.

any help ?

It is a cantharid but not R. fulva. I could run it through a British key but that might be misleading if it is from Germany.

Thank you for helping me .. Cantharis livida could be right .. in my book there is a image where he has black wing caps but the drawings on the feet are very identical ... hmmm :-))

It is Cantharis livida, the spot of black gives it away!
