Hi
Found in a freshwater sample full of Oak leaves and plant debris and benthic invertebrates
this unknow larvae for me...
I thougt it was an aquatic lepidoptera larvae (Crambidae) but it isn't
This larva 15-20 mm length is easily floating on water surface (seems to be hydrophobe) and they are like suckers or gills on the las abdominal segment...
COuld it be a juvenile larva of Carabeus violaceus purpurascens ?
Merci beaucoup

THanks you
It could be or not if this is a male larvae
but
I 'd prefer Rhagonycha gallica
Let's wait...
merci beaucoup

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
