Hi,
I take pictures of this Eristalis in august 2005 in Belgium.
I guess Eristalis pertinax. Right ?
If necessary, I have more pictures, especially showing head and feet.

Yes, you are right, this is a male of E. pertinax. It is the only species with yellow tarsae on it's first leg!

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
