Hi, I have a question concerning the genus Pollenia. I know that Pollenia rudis parasitizes annelids but I don't know if all Pollenia do that. Can anyone give me any insight on this matter? |

According to Rognes: armentaria - unknown angustigena - earthworm host sp unknown griseotomentosa - unknown hungarica - reared from the lumbricid Eisenia rosea pallida - unknown pediculata - E rosea rudis - E rosea. 1 example reared from Chondrostegia maghrebica (Lepidoptera) chrysalid vagabunda - unknown Sounds like a project for you Rui

But I am really surprised one Pollenia reared from a lepidopteran, I would never expect that.Well, thank you very much for your help Susan, I knew that you would reply this thread, and I'm eagerly waiting for your work on Pollenia identification to come out . |
