Hi everyone!

Is this male a Hybomitra distinguenda?

Legs brown, palp short and thick, long hairs on first antennal segment, angle between the lower eye edges not much more than 90°, eye facets getting larger from the lower to the higher ones (not too much but clearly visible), hairs on first tergite's edge look yellow.

18 mm long. Was hovering in front of me.

15.6.2025, Germany, Upper Bavaria, a few metres from the summit of Mt. Hochfelln, about 1670 m a.s.l., coordinates 47.76162,12.55914
