Very unsure. I am not seeing true dorsal setae on the first tarsomere of the hind tibia, but the first tarsal segment is not shorter as the second and there are no true apical setae on the hind femur (only subapical anterior?). Do not believe it can be anything else, so they might be broken or are the small hairs enough?

Thank you very much it!
I have been using the Grichanov (2006)(https://diptera.i...urope.pdfl) key, but I am not understanding one couplet:

31. Hind basitarsus with distinct bristle above.......................................Dolichopus
– Hind basitarsus without bristles above..........................................................32

Is this in reference to think short bristles from top to bottom of the basitarsus, or does this also variate between Dolichopus? I suppose my frame of reference is a bit limited to interpret this characteristic, but I can see the obvious less thick bristles in my other post (https://diptera.i..._id=115616).

Hope I can recognize this to try to ID these more certain. Appreciate the help!

Looking through a lot of references, I notice these dorsal hairs on the basitarsus of the hind tibia very vaguely. More a note to myself, but it underlines the care that must be taken with photographs, especially when you are photostacking...
