Hello,
This female Dolichopus was photographed in Ariège (Pyrenees, France) at 400 m altitude in July. Its size was not measured.
Following the identification key of British Dolichopodidae, there are good arguments for Dolichopus festivus:
- yellow femurs
- pale lower postocular cilia,
- bare face,
- metatarsus 3 with 2 dorsal setae (blurred but visible)
- tibia 2 with 2 setae below
- yellow antennal segments
- blackish hind tarsus
- distinctly blackish hind tibia at the apex
What do you think please?

André, if it is important, then label it as Dolichopus plumipes (?). The species is numerous everywhere.
