Hello,
In the south of France, October 5, 2024.
This large female, 14 mm long + 1 mm for the ovipositor, was in the compost.
I thought about the family Stratiomyidae but I can't find it.
Thank you for your help with identification.

Thank you so much Juergen,
Sargus bipunctatus larvae live in compost. So that's exactly it. It just needs to take color and that's why it didn't move much.
