Hello, I photographed this fly in Bagni di Vinadio (CN), Italy, 1300m a.s.l. on August 16th 2024. I think it is a Tachinidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species based on these photos? My gut feeling is Pachystylum bremii |

So, gut feeling was wrong: in Pachystylum palpus is black and tergites have dark hind margins. |
