Hi,

two days ago, I observed a female Syrphidae sticking eggs to the underside of a leaf. At least, that was my interpretation and the images seem to confirm that. It looks a bit like Eupeodes sp., but the face seems to look different.
Is it possible to determine he species from the picture?

Germany, Southern Bavaria, Munich (-West), leaf, 23.05.2024, app. 6-8 mm (I don't really remember the size, but that should be ok, more or less)

Greetings, Uli
