No Flies on U (Quiz) http://www.glaucu...lies2.html This will test your arthropod mettle of a collection of terrestrial (flew around and landed) flies. Your mission if you choose to accept it is to fill in the gaps of the flies without labels. This is because I do not seem to have the books and I tried before to put names on the craneflies and managed to get them wrong. All from coastal Sussex in 2005. For the champions: MAY 1) http://www.glaucu...Elm113.jpg 2) http://www.glaucu...Elm107.jpg 3) http://www.glaucu...lm110E.jpg 4) http://www.glaucu...Fly009.jpg Probably not on elm leaves, but in the vicinity of Elm and Hawthorn. JULY 5) http://www.glaucu...Fly018.jpg 6) http://www.glaucu...Fly024.jpg I am sure that six is plenty enough!
