Hello everyone,

I found this fly on May 15, 2023 in southwest Germany in a meadow. I estimate the size to be 5 mm. Is this a female of Myoleja lucida?

Greetings Siggi

Hi Siggi, Myoleja lucida is correct (pterostigma bicoloured, Acidia cognata is monochrome dark).
Greetings, Eric Kloeckner
