Hi, Please let me show you a series of yellow Drosophila species. I hope we can put them in a group at least. The next pictures were taken in a beech forest in southern Brandenburg on 30th September. Numerous animals were on the underside of a large bracket fungus. They had clear wings, and only the females' abdomen tips were dark. Any suggestions? Wow - those males are very "obese"...  So they match the females of thread (5), all being H. confusa. Good to know! They seem to be quite frequent.Many thanks, dear Jan Edited by Sundew on 15-11-2023 14:43 |
