Hello, I tried some threads over years but always failed - due to personal incompetence. I will try again after a lot of pressure having built up, and me hopefully reading the instructions correctly this time.
This fly, around 8-10mm, was sitting on a window screen inside a ferry station of Lake Hakone in Japan, near Tokyo, about 700m above sea level, 04-Oct-2023. I have no idea what family and would be very happy about at least this information. Thank you so much, Jörg

Thank you so much - did I right by changing the title of my original thread? I am still learning (hopefully).
