While making light for attraction of moths, I found this Bibio yesterday (10.10.2023) - Lüneburg, Lower saxony (Germany).
Can it be identified?

There are only two species likely to be found in October, Bibio longipes and Bibio clavipes.

Yes, and this is the female Bibio clavipes.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
