Is it possible to distinguish between these two species based on wing pattern? I have downloaded images from the internet of the two and find it very hard to see any clear difference. Or is another feature needed?

I have a few photos where I have this problem and am attaching one, from Yegen, Andalucia, Spain on a wall in the village, 30 April. Can this be assigned a species?

Thank you.

Third small hyaline spot reaching costal margin of wing in cell r2+3 is rounded. This point toward *maticariae*.
